All of the new phones come with Android 11 and Samsung’s newest UI – One UI 3 which promises to be their most fluid and intuitive user interface yet, making working on the phones much more productive. They also all have an IP68 rating so are dust and water resistant up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. All phones are due to be released on 29/01/21 so not long to wait!

And what about the extras…

Once you have decided on your model, there were also some exciting new accessories announced. First up was the latest version of their popular wireless headphones, the Galaxy Buds Pro. The new buds have improved voice detection with 3 microphones for clearer and easier calls. They also feature a micro woofer and tweeter in order to mimic real speakers and give you amazing sound and call quality. They are due out on 11/01/21 and come in violet, black or silver at a cost of £219.

Next up was an addition to Samsung’s SmartThings Find (a connected solution for locating your phone, earbuds etc.). Galaxy SmartTag and SmartTag+ are small tile-shaped gadgets designed to be attached to anything you want to keep track of such as keys, bags or even your pet! The SmartTag (£29) is due out 29/01/21 with the SmartTag+ coming later in the year (price unconfirmed).

Samsung also announced that the S21 Ultra will be compatible with the S Pen which is great news for Note fans and anyone interested in improving productivity on their mobile. A new S Pen stylus (£34) has been specially designed for the Ultra which is available now, plus a Bluetooth model coming later in the year which will support air gestures much like the one for the Galaxy Note.
